InterContinental Singapore

Details: An iconic hotel reflecting the Peranakan heritage and lifestyle of early Singapore.

Scope of work: 65 Guestrooms and Suites, Chinese Restaurant (Man Fu Yuan) and Executive Club Lounge.

Inspired by ornate art, ceramics, and eye catching embroidery, the guestroom design exudes a residential feel that is tranquil without being over imposing. Man Fu Yuan draws its design inspiration from nature whilst retaining transitional Chinese elements. Club InterContinental, an elegant enclave in a pre-colonial residential setting, rekindling the spirit of a much fading Peranakan culture.

UPDATE: January 2012 – FBEYE commissioned to design the entire remainder areas of the hotel. (316 Guestrooms and Suites, F&B Outlets, Spa / Gym and all public areas)

The elegant and distinctive designs by FBEYE perfectly compliment the hotel’s existing heritage architecture and Peranakan style. FBEYE clearly understood our objectives from the very beginning and delivered a result that far exceeded our expectations.
